Outreach OT provides a high quality Occupational Therapy service in the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales. Outreach OT travels between Lismore and Kyogle within a simple fee schedule. Outreach OT provides individualised services tailored to the needs and priorities of each person or family, Outreach OT provides:
Comprehensive services for children experiencing developmental or learning issues and disabilities
Quality equipment prescription for children and adults who have physical disabilities
Quality assessment of home and school environments
Proactive consultation with schools or early childhood centres to support inclusion of and outcomes for all students .
NDIS participants who are self or plan managed can access Outreach OT using their NDIS funds .
Carmel Perrett is the owner/operator of Outreach OT. Carmel graduated as an Occupational Therapist in 1991, and throughout her career has focused on the needs of both children and adults within their family and community. Career highlights include:
Nineteen years experience working with children and adults with disabilities, developmental and learning difficulties, including two years as Senior Occupational Therapist at Cerebral Palsy League of Queensland;
Two years experience working with adults requiring rehabilitation following illness;
Seven years experience in leadership positions with Queensland Health, working across large public health, community and hospital systems to improve outcomes for children and their families.
Outreach OT prides itself on seeing clients and families in the environment of their choosing, whether that is at home, at school or work, or local community centre. This commitment to the local community means that travel within Lismore, Goonellebah, Kyogle and all areas in between do not attract any additional charges.
